As a former educator, my clients in therapy can certainly expect homework from me, whether they are children, teenagers, or adults (young and old). If you hire a personal trainer, it is expected that you keep up with your workouts when after your training sessions. Homework in therapy is highly important and beneficial and these are some of the reasons why:
Homework affords me the opportunity to see what my client's daily life looks like. Where are they being triggered, tempted, or experiencing personal successes?
Self-Empowerment - Homework can be a tool of resilience and resistance. Through inner work, my clients can see themselves as active agents in their lives.
3. Clients can document their progress and as a team, we can talk about the progress
during our sessions.
If you are seeking a new beginning and you need therapy, guidance, and life coaching, speak to me today about starting a New Chapter in your life!
