  1. I am never alone. The Lord Jesus Christ walks with me in every season.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

  2. As a Black man, I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14

  3. My life is purposeful, meaningful, and important. Even when I do not see the full path, God is ordering my steps. “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.” Psalm 37:23

  4. I will continue to be a blessing to the world. My presence carries light, wisdom, and healing. “I will bless you… and you will be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2

  5. Despite oppression, I am wealthy in the Lord. What is meant for me, I shall not lack.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

  6. I can never be forsaken. My God, Jehovah, sustains me, loves me, blesses me, and covers me. “I have never seen the righteous forsaken.” Psalm 37:25

  7. I speak the language of peace and renounce confusion, for the Lord is not the author of confusion. “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33

  8. I honour myself. I am royalty. I am a King as a son of the Most High God, Yahweh.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood.” 1 Peter 2:9

  9. I decree and declare that my mind is renewed in Christ Jesus. I release what does not support my spiritual and mental growth. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

  10. When I am weak, I am strong. God strengthens me from within.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

  11. I allow myself to be still. In stillness, I hear God more clearly.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

  12. I serve a God who is in the business of healing, restoring, and rebuilding my life.

“I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.” Jeremiah 30:17
