Positive Affirmations for Black Men Healing From Heartbreak

My grief is part of being human. I am not weak. And if I feel weak right now, I know I am strong in other areas and can become strong again.
It is okay to miss someone and still move on. Missing someone does not mean I need to return to them.
Rejection is not a reflection of who I am or what I am worth. I will remain emotionally available for the right people who love and value me.
I will love deeply without abandoning myself. Loving someone does not require me to lose myself.
I can cry. If crying is part of how I grieve, I will allow myself to do it. Crying makes me human.
I can be alone and still know that I am desirable and lovable. My relationship status does not determine my worth.
I forgive myself for the mistakes I made. I release the shame of believing that I should have known everything before I learned it.
I choose to give myself closure. I will not wait indefinitely for another person to give me the explanation, apology or ending that I need.
I can acknowledge that I am hurt and that I cared. Pretending that something meant nothing to me does not make me stronger.
This is not the ending. This is the beginning of my self love journey.
